Every year friends of ours hold a 4th of July breakfast at a local park. This year I'd estimate that there were over 100 people, visiting and enjoying the delicious food that this friend is famous for. They always start with a little talk about Independence Day and remind us of the sacrifices and patriotism of our founding fathers. Their vision of this country made it possible for us to enjoy the freedoms we often take for granted. I'm thankful for their courage and sacrifice to stand up for what they believed in the face of overwhelming odds. Happy Independence Day! Enjoy the day with your family!
